Digital Cities Belfast – BBC Academy Digital Skills Day

This day of free training from the BBC Academy will focus on creating shortform – bitesize, on-demand content, giving you the know-how to make and share. It’s all about mobile content that drives people to other platforms to discover more.

The BBC Academy Digital Skills Day is for both experienced professionals wanting to brush up on their digital skills and new entrants to digital production.

The Sessions explore…

  • Filming on your Smartphone – Top tips for filming quality story content on your smartphone
  • Make APPSolutely Amazing Content – Hands-on session using apps for high quality shortform
  • Big Impact on Big Platforms – Making YouTube and Facebook work for you
  • Essential Guide to Live Streaming – Everything you need to know about mobile streaming to professional and social media platforms

There are two duplicate sessions to the day – in the morning and afternoon; when registering choose your sessions in the morning (Morning Ticket A or B) and/or afternoon (Afternoon Ticket C or D) via the order form when you book. Each session has two workshops.

Registration will be from 8.45am in The MAC reception, the first session starts promptly at 9.30am.

A Digital Cities Londonderry/Derry Day, run by North West Regional College, will also be taking place during the week.
